Marketing books you'll never get to read

Yes, I have read each of these marketing books and have posted my own reviews on the good ones here. It's a reminder for me and a time-saver for you. This blog saves you time by shortlisting the must-read books. Look out for the 'pearls of wisdom' per book. The pearl I get might not always be the main idea the author was trying to put across (sometimes it is) but at least you get my take on things. Really Bad PowerPoint - by Seth Godin

(and how to avoid it!) OK it's only a 10-page PDF, but if you've ever just got to the end of your monster PowerPoint epic production and (just BEFORE you show it to your clients/colleagues/board) you want a little perspective on things - read this. Pearl#1: Never use more than 6 words per slide, no cheesy images and never use transitions or spins.
